Dünyaya Dair — Burak Can

Through the Eyes of a Young Turk

This page makes no claim to teach, guide, or persuade anyone. It is simply the personal notebook of a young Turk interested in international relations, recording what I have seen, experienced, read, and the questions that stay with me.

This is where I share what I have seen, felt, and witnessed while spending years studying away from home. The people I have met across different places, the paths we have shared, and the memories we have made have shaped how I see the world.

A few frozen moments from the places I have been and seen.

About Me

Hello, I’m Burak Can. I completed my primary and secondary education in Istanbul and earned my bachelor’s degree in English Language and Literature at Kyrgyz-Turkish Manas University. I am now pursuing a master’s degree in International Relations and Security Studies at Webster University in the United States. During my years in Kyrgyzstan, I worked alongside many valued colleagues in student representation, youth organizations, and projects connected to the Turkic world. I share these social, cultural, and academic experiences here from my own perspective, without claiming any special authority.
